What is a computer?

Computers are all around us, and they play an important role in our lives. But what exactly is a computer? As a member of the GCFLearnFree team, I developed this animation to answer that question and give viewers an overview of some of the different types of computers one might use. My job was to create a fun, educational video - from concept to illustration to completed animation.

The most challenging aspect of this project was figuring out how to explain a complex topic in a way that was both accessible and fun. To make these sketches I used Storyboarder.
